I am convinced that the church’s witness to the world is directly influenced by how churches relate to one another. Healthy churches are supportive of the work of all other churches that proclaim Jesus, faithfully teach the Bible, and lovingly make disciples. At The Rock we believe that healthy churches influence communities for Jesus and we desire to support all churches that endeavor this sacred task.

There are two specific ways The Rock is teaming up with other churches in the coming weeks:

First, we join with many churches in the South Bay for Family Promise. Our week to serve homeless families is next week. Sign-Up Here if you desire to serve in this way.

Second, we join with The Harbor Covenant Church for a combined worship service at The Rock on Sunday, March 10. One of our goals at The Rock for 2019 is to assist in planting The Harbor. Join us all in worship on the 10th to encourage The Harbor, show the unity of our churches to the world, and enjoy sweet fellowship with our brothers and sisters at The Harbor. Sign-Up Here to bring something to share in the meal after the service.

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." - 2 Corinthians 13:14

Children's Ministry

This week Rock Kids will be digging into the story of God giving Peter the power to heal a crippled beggar, found in Acts 3. The kids will learn the Bible point "God helps us to be bold." For some kids, boldness doesn't come easily. They may be shy or introverted. Perhaps they're outgoing. But talking boldly about faith is a different story. We want to help kids see that boldness doesn't come from their own strength- it comes from God at work in their lives.
