Peter often reminded the church of important doctrines, values, and mission. He knew that the church could forget what is most important in the midst of the busyness of life. We can all relate to the need to be reminded.
This Sunday I will preach on what I perceive to be God’s vision for The Rock at this time. I plan on reminding us of our call and mission, encouraging us with what God has done, starting the discussion regarding where God has us right now, and giving practical ways we all can be involved!

Children's Ministry
This week Rock Kids will be digging into the story of God saving Shadrach, Meshach, & Abednego (found in Daniel 3). The kids will learn the Bible point, "God helps us stand strong." Kids may not be pressured to bow down to a statue, but the world around them is constantly bombarding them with things that shift their attention away from God. There's so much demanding their worship. We want to help kids identify those idols & stand strong, serving only God.
