"Back to school" is a phrase that produces many different reactions. From students the reaction might be, "boo - summer is over!" or "yeah - I get to see my friends," or even "I'm scared I will be bullied." For parents the reaction might be, "Finally - that was the longest summer ever!", or "I'm so sad I don't get to see my kids every day," or "I'm so anxious for my child to get through the year emotionally." Teachers and administrators have conflicting emotions. College students leaving home for the first time are excited and anxious all at the same time.

For Christians an appropriate response to all of these is to pray and trust God! And that is exactly what we are going to do at The Rock this Sunday. Different people will pray for specific issues revolving around "Back to School." The prayers will be joined with heartfelt worship. Paul and Josh Kaufman will lead us in an intimate, worshipful setting designed to lead us to the thrown room of God.  Following the service will be a meal for us to share in as well!

Come and pray for your brothers and sisters. Come and worship. Come and fellowship with your friends and family!

"...praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayers and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints." - Ephesians 6:18
