The Rock is a church made up of faithful volunteers. Volunteerism is the core of our church and every member of The Rock is indebted to the service of others. The bottom line is, no volunteers = no church!

Volunteering is a hallmark of every church dating back to the 1st century. This Sunday I will look at a passage of Romans where Paul greets and gives thanks to the volunteers in the Roman church. It is a passage that is full of love, care, and genuine thanksgiving.

After our service, we would like to thank everyone who volunteers at The Rock with a meal! We regularly eat together as part of our communion service and Sunday we will enjoy one another by sharing a meal dedicated to our volunteers (which is most of the church!) Please come and enjoy worshipping together in song, prayer, Word, the Lord’s supper, fellowship, and eating!

"Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks but all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks as well. Greet also the church in their house." - Romans 16:3-5b

Children's Ministry

This week Rock Kids will be digging into the story of Jesus sending out the 12 disciples, found in Matthew 10. The kids will learn the Bible point "Jesus trusts us to do what he can do." Kids can do a lot to help spread God's Word & love. We want to empower them and help them see that God trusts them to do incredible things for God. God trusts them because he will help them.
