Matt became a Christian at the age of 20 and soon got involved in the ministry of Youth With a Mission. After spending time in Brisbane, Australia he realized a call to youth ministry. Upon graduating from Life Pacific Bible College in Surrey, British Columbia he married his wife Grace. They soon traveled south and landed in Manhattan Beach where they have been ministering to youth since 2003.
He is active at Manhattan Beach Middle School and Mira Costa High School as a counselor for New Life Clubs where approximately 100 kids are fed with Pizza and the love of God. Matt enjoys his time discipling young men to be all that God has created them to be. As a team, Matt and Grace enjoy ministering to the junior high and high school students at their weekly meeting on Wednesdays called Youth of the City.
Matt is currently finishing his Masters of Divinity at The Kings Seminary in Van Nuys. Matt and Grace live in Hermosa Beach with their beagle, Daisy.

Carrie's passion for serving others has made it easy to step into ministry as a lifestyle. She has served on the Board of Directors for a non profit organization called B.J.L.Y. Because Jesus Loves You, at Hope Chapel Hermosa and developed a protocol and guidelines for families wishing to host traveling pastors in their homes at Salt Lake Christian Fellowship. She started deaf ministries in two churches (Sounds of Silence) as a result of growing up with her deaf sister. In addition, she developed a prayer counseling ministry (HOPE, Helping Others Prepare for Eternity) while attending Atlanta City Church, helped lead a prayer ministry for pastors and their wives, and led a successful after school bible study for high school students (SWAT, Students with a Testimony).
After moving back to California in 1998, she became involved with the Junior High Ministry at Rolling Hills Covenant Church. Carrie later became involved with Women's Ministry at Rolling Hills and served on the leadership team, where she later launched a mentoring ministry for women called One to One. Currently, Carrie is serving on the leadership board at The Rock Church and head our Women’s Ministry.
Carrie lives with her husband, Jeff and son, Kevin in San Pedro. Her son, Jason, currently resides in Italy. She spends much of her time in worship though her writing, painting, participating in prayer groups and bible studies.
