Our Values

What we value as a body of Christ seeking Jesus in our relationships, community, family and daily life.

And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."  Luke 10:27

  1. Wholeness
We believe that God wants to restore every part of us. The salvation that Jesus gives to us is our only hope for healing our relationship with God, and with one another. We know that God is faithful in answering our cry for forgiveness, in knowing our desire to follow Him and in loving us as we come to Him. And it is only by seeking His face and accepting His love that we are able to continuously heal as individuals and as a community.

  2. Community
We believe that all people are created in the image of God. When Jesus taught us to “bear one another’s burdens” we take that as a way of life. We also believe in sharing our possessions with one another, to pray for one another, to confess our sins and to celebrate and suffer together. To live the way that Jesus called us to live cannot be done individually. The words of Mother Theresa inspire us: “Few of us can do great things but all of us can do small things with great love.”

  3. Serving One Another
Jesus gave his life for us and in turn we believe that we are called to give our lives for others. God calls us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. He knows we are a selfish being and reminds us to show His love through service to others. The very presence of God is demonstrated as we reach out to the hurt, broken and afraid and by delivering the message of a resurrected Jesus.

  4. Prayer
From the very beginning we have been determined to be a prayerful body of Christ. Without constant and intimate communication with our Father, we cannot fulfill our purpose as He intends. God desires to hear from us and to have fellowship with him. And it through prayer that the Holy Spirit fills us healing, love and truth. We believe in miracles. We believe in salvation. We believe that prayer makes things happen in ways we could not possibly do on our own.

  5. Worship
We believe that we were created and designed to worship God. We are a community of people that express ourselves in worship through the gift of music, art, prayer, bible study and discipleship. Just as God desires to hear from us through prayer, He delights in our free and unique glorifying worship of Him. The gift of worship allows us to reach the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in a way that edifies the body of Christ and gives deliverance to our soul.
